There are a number of routes you can take to get here. Ferries sail from Ullapool, Uig and Oban via Bernaray. The recently implemented "Road Equivilent Tariff" has made it even better value to sail on these routes. Various airlines fly from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness to Stornoway. Car hire is available from Stornoway. Bicycles can be hired locally in Leverburgh. Please find travel links below.

Sorrel cottage bike hire- 01859 520319

Travel times: Approx 1 hour from Stornoway, 30 minutes from Tarbert.
The house is on the C79, or "Bays" road, approximately half a mile from the village of Flodabay, heading south. The turn off is on the left, on the crest of the hill. Just follow the track all the way! The track to the house is not a council maintained road, and is only partially tarmac'd. The last 300 metres are of rough stone construction, suitable for 4 x 4 or lightly laden cars. Please be aware that  this is at your own risk. If you prefer you can park in the large turning circle overlooking the natural harbour, but please leave the track clear for access by the crofter.
