How to get here.

Harris hills on the horizon
There are a number of routes you can take to get here. Ferries sail from Ullapool, Uig and Oban via Bernaray. The recently implemented "Road Equivilent Tariff" has made it even better value to sail on these routes. Various airlines fly from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness to Stornoway. Car hire is available from Stornoway. Bicycles can be hired locally in Leverburgh. Please find travel links below.

How to find the house. Most people come from either Stornoway or Tarbert. Follow the A859 which is the main road, south until you come to a junction left signposted C79, Roghdal and Bays Cafe. Turn here and follow this road for approx 8 miles until you pass the village of Flodabay (Gaelic signposts will read Fleodabagh!) Roughly quarter of a mile past this village, on the top of a small hill is a left hand junction. Drive carefully! The track down to the house is only partially metalled. There is one other house approximately half way down on the left hand side. The last 250 metres is a rough stone track. It is driveable with care, but is not recommended for low slung cars and is entirely at your own risk. For those of you who want to park before the rough track the best place to park is in the turning circle overlooking the bay. Please remember this is a working croft and the crofter will need daily access, so please don't block the road! For those of you driving right to the house there is plenty of room to turn once you get there!

Look carefully and you can see part of the track coming down the hill!
